The Web Deacon offers an opportunity to local designers to work with The Web Deacon as a professional web services provider. You can develop web sites for local churches and religious groups. You are also free to use the system to develop and support other clients. You will find that production efficiency lets you serve a much larger client base than traditional "code and load" techniques.
TOOLS AND SERVICES
As a Web Deacon affiliate you'll have a powerful tool for building numerous web sites. Your own creativity will turn the standard templates into a wide array of individual designs. Each site will have its own "look and feel" while exhibiting flexibility of content, dynamic updating, and stability of performance that few individually created sites can achieve in such numbers.
REVENUE SOURCES
All design fees you charge are yours to keep or to donate to your organization if you're volunteering or working for a church or religious group, as you choose. If you wish, you may subcontract certain tasks back to us if it seems convenient and if we can accommodate your schedule.
We earn a monthly fee for groups' use of the system, and local designer/webmasters share in that service revenue to The Web Deacon. We expect you to support a minimum of ten sites to qualify as an affiliate and to achieve that level within three months. The easiest way to achieve that goal is to identify and improve dysfunctional sites already on line. The default residual commission is ten percent and is earned for every full month that the user remains a paid user in good standing. Commissions are disbursed quarterly, but only if the amount due exceeds $100; smaller amounts accrue until the amount payable is at least $100.

We'll look at your existing work and check your spelling and the integration and navigability of the sites. We're looking for logical site organization; we're not interested in flash and dash. You'll be producing dynamic, easily updated sites, and you'll be training the campaigns to do it themselves, letting you add clients quickly and without adding staff.

Most tools can be activated and configured in under a minute. Built-in search engine support gives you an easy way to include meta tags for keywords, description, abstract, and author. Our experience is that our sites rapidly appear in searches if keywords and description are well written. Because we also link our clients through directories that in turn get spidered, the synergy among your sites and ours helps all to be seen.
