Services of The Web Deacon are available in three broad packages. We call them the Standard, Premium and Enterprise services. Pricing starts at only $99.95 per month after a modest implementation fee that includes template selection, domain registration or transfer and training of your editor (on line or by telephone). All packages include technical support, hosting and backup, plus general oversight by our team of Web professionals.
Editing is not included; we will train a member of your staff to edit and maintain your site. If you cannot identify a local editor, creative services are available at competitive rates.

How to Get Started
If you've been introduced to The Web Deacon by a customer representative, just ask him or her to complete the sign-up procedure on your behalf. If you found The Web Deacon on the Web, please use the Inquiry Form in the Table of Contents. We'll reply with further instructions. In either case, to get started you will need just some basic contact data and a credit card.

Standard Package
The Standard package includes up to 50 general purpose pages and up to 365 web (pastor's) log posts. Each page can freely mix text, graphics, links, etc. Generous limits apply to the number of graphics and albums in the gallery.
If you have a member list in electronic format we may be able to load it into the system as part of the implementation. This applies to any package. Ask your representative for details.
Delivery time for a Standard site is typically one to five business days from receipt of source materials, depending on current workload.
The Standard package is designed to provide a "web presence" for your church. To use the Web effectively for a broad range of communication within and outside your congregation we urge you to consider the more full-featured Premium package.
Implementation of the Standard package is only $595.00, including initialization, domain research, registration or transfer, theme graphic, home page and one additional information page with content you supply, setup of the tools you choose (calendar, guestbook, inquiry form, etc.) and up to two hours training of your editor by telephone. Monthly support is just $99.95 per month.

Most importantly, The Web Deacon system strives to put you, not some remote "webmaster" in charge of your site; there is no gatekeeper between you and your community.

Premium Package
The Premium package adds the ability to define a comprehensive member roster and community directory. You may be able to replace desktop member software with The Web Deacon Roster.
The Roster lets you manage the membership's contacts and other data from any web browser. Gone is the jealously guarded list on the aging Pentium in the church office. Complete information and pictures of each member is instantly available anywhere, but with all the privacy protection you choose. Each member has a personal journal (web log) and spam-free email contact form.
Podcasting lets you deliver high-impact audio-video messages via iTunes or other podcasting engines.
The Premium package also enables you to upload video clips to your site and embed them into almost any page. The Web Deacon supports QuickTime pseudo-streaming, which means that short video clips begin to play almost immediately. Full streaming service is also available as a further upgrade. Storage and bandwith charges apply to steaming video.
The Directory helps you acknowledge others in the community. These may be business, people or organizations you choose to honor or support. The Directory is also a revenue opportunity.

In addition, our Enterprise sites can provide the same web site publishing tools to their members that we provide to the organization. These personal or family sites can be a service offering, or they can serve as a revenue opportunity.
You can optionally publish a full-scale magazine with features comparable to the best national magazines using our expanded Journalmaker™ package.
Finally, we can consult, estimate, review and perform data management services that may stand alone or may interact with the web-based tools.
